Ninja Assassian - Trailer - IN LEGO!!!

and here is the original if you haven't watched it yet...

The Vampire's Assistant - Trailer

Patrick Fugit (Wristcutters, Almost Famous) is in this... he plays "Evra the Snake Boy"... that pretty much is enough to get me to watch this... not in the theater mind you, but defiantly "renting"...

NEW Batman: Arkham Asylum Trailer

Aside from the VO, I really enjoy this trailer... I just hope the writing is up to par for the comic book readers out there, and that they didn't just pander to the movie crowd...

Thanks to Joystiq

District 9 - New Trailer

While staying in Toronto for this past mth, I came across allot advertisements for District 9. Most of which were posters denoting that bus stops are for "Humans Only"... This all peaked my interest for the film, and now this new trailer has push me over the edge (that's the "edge" of the "peak" that the posters put me on, and so then I'm falling for this movie (oh great, now it sounds like I'm in love w/ it... bah *shakes head in disbelief* )...)...

It's a pretty safe bet that I'll be at the theater this August 14th...

Thanks to FSR for the heads up...

9 - International Trailer

I'm such a sucker for this film... Hell I'm breaking my own rules by watching everything I can about it (usually I'll watch the first teaser/trailer of a film and if I like it, I'll ignore the rest... as to not ruin the experience)

Here is the new International trailer for 9... It's in English w/ French subtitles, and at the end they refer to it as "Number 9"...

Thanks to FSR for the update...

ps, I want a ARA for 9...

Thirst - Trailer

a priest - life + evil blood = what should be another great movie by Park Chan-wook (Oldboy)

2012 - Trailer

How does John Cusack go from time traveling hot tubs to this??? I don't know, and I don't really care... All that matters is that this looks like good predictable eye candy...

Robogeisha - Trailer

All I have to say about this trailer is summed up in the following:

O_O

Thanks (I think) again /Film

The Invention of Lying - Trailer

And from another of my favorite English comedians (Ricky Gervais) comes the fist trailer for his latest film, The Invention of Lying... Thanks FSR... The concept is simple, what if their was no suching thing as lying... Everyone told the truth all the time... and then what if a man discovers that he can lie... Enter Mr. Gervais...

It seems like a light comedy, but as long as Gervais has had a hand in the writing it'll be good...

Inglourius Basterds... Trailer 2

You're going to have to wait until August 21st to watch Inglourius Basterds... but until then, here is the second trailer for the film...

The Last Airbender... No Longer Called "Avatar"

As a fan of the animated series, I can say that I'm not to excited for this film... Reasons:

• they nix'd "Avatar" from the title, probably b/c of James Cameron
• M. Night Shyamalan is not my favorite director, ESPECIALLY for this property
• Noah Ringer doesn't have Aang's flair/personality
• all the characters are wrong and I hate it.... ahhhhhhhhhhh HULK SMASH

Ok, so if I take my fanboy hat off and look at this just as a film... I guess it'll be good for the kids, and anyone who didn't watch the series...

Thanks to FSR...

Ponyo... it looks like Totoro...

Is it just me, or does this look like it was made around the time (1988) of My Neighbor Totoro...
Is Hayao Miyazaki getting lazy and just selling his old films to Disney???
Are they just repackaging an old product for the western marketplace???

I don't know the answers, all I can say is that I feel nothing for this film. Aside from the shock that they are trying to pass it off as new.... Which it might be... but really doesn't look like it... *bah* at least he's consistent....

Thanks to FSR as per usual...

Assassin's Creed II - Trailer and Interview

First things first, check this out for the trailer...

Now, I'm somewhat of a fan of the Assassin's Creed IP... Despite the game's flaws it still maintains a place in my top games list, I have yet to write said list but I'm sure its on there...

Although Jade Raymond (<3<3<3) isn't involved in AC2, they still have good people working on the sequel; however, I am convinced that if she was involved, Eizo wouldn't have that damn puffy shirt...

Anyway, here is an interview w/ the creative director Patrice Désilets from the gentle(wo)men at Joystiq...

A Perfect Getaway - Trailer

At first this trailer seems to embody one of those mock trailers... You know the ones that let us see what Jaws would have been like as a love story, or the the touching story about father and son in The Shinning...

Well A Perfect Getaway starts out just like that, and then....

FSR Gets a NEW One-Sheet for 9

I don't know how FSR does it, but they are always on top of everything regarding 9... Here is a one-sheet that they, ummm, "found"...

9 being and animated film directed by Shane Acker, that I believe will be one of my favorite films of '09 (up there w/ The Brother Bloom)...

It has everything going for it, from Coheed and Cambria playing in the first trailer (prob. not in the film, but I'm a sucker for "Welcome Home") to the voice acting of Chrispin Glover, John C. Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Christopher Plummer, and Martin Landeau...

First Trailer
Second Trailer

You know where I'll be Sept 9th

500 Days of Summer... Oh how I want to see this...

In December, when I found out that 500 Days of Summer was going to premiere at Sundance I was pretty excited. I'm not going to say much more as the following links speak for themselves...
